Performing has included appearances at Ronnie Scott’s with many leading jazz musicians including Dick Pearce, Dave O'Higgins, Jason Rebello, Dave Green and Kymaera. Other engagements have included the 606 club, Docklands Jazz Festival, Jersey Festival and the Lisbon Jazz Festival, as well as numerous theatre dates. Jazz orchestra work has included performing in The Memphis Bell Big Band that was featured in the celebrated David Putnam film of the same name. Shane has also accompanied many renowned singers including Tina May, Kate Dimbleby, opera legend Maria Ewing and percussionist singer Frank Holder and soul legend Viola Wills. Other musicians he has appeared with include Don Weller, Don Rendall, Christian Brewer, Damon Brown, Martin Shaw, Martin Drew, Dave Markee and Tal Farlow. He has also accompanied former Buddy Rich Band saxophonist Bob Martin and the legendary alto sax virtuoso Peter King. Other projects have included recording with Jan Garbarek Band pianist Rainer Bruninghaus and appearing with the virtuoso UK pianist Derek Paravicini whose tribute show to George Shearing also features musical director Ann Odell. Shane has also appeared with flautist composer Mike Mower, who has produced albums for James Galway as well as with the bass legend Herbie Flowers, a former member of Sky and the David Bowie Band, to mention but a few of his many associated acts.

Shane can fix many types of ensemble ranging from solo guitar to 6 piece band for your event particulary jazz/latin and fusion.
